Our Privacy Commitment
Alter is built on a radical privacy principle: zero tracking, zero analytics, zero data collection. Your queries go directly from your device to public blockchain RPC nodes. No intermediary server, no database, no logs stored by Alter.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No personal identification information
- No EVM addresses you query
- No IP addresses or location data
- No usage analytics or telemetry
- No cookies or tracking pixels
- No device fingerprinting
How Queries Work
When you look up an address, Alter sends RPC calls directly to public blockchain nodes (like Ethereum or Gnosis RPC endpoints). These are public infrastructure nodes — the same ones used by Etherscan, MetaMask, and other blockchain tools. Alter does not proxy, log, or intercept these requests.
Third-Party Services
Alter's website (alter-evm.com) is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may collect standard server access logs as part of their infrastructure. Refer to GitHub Pages documentation for details. The Alter application itself (CLI, Desktop, Mobile) makes no requests to any VISIALIS server — only to public RPC nodes configured by the user.
